Continuing my love affair with the Scottish landscape which touches the soul and never fails to inspire this is taken from an original painting in the Border Pass series. The image depicts the incredible landscape of the Scottish Borders on a very windswept day. I have tried to capture the atmospheric scene in hues of heather, denim, Prussian blue, magenta and umber with cadmium highlights.
